Theme: Winter Symphony
Winter Holiday Concert - Saturday, December 21 1:00-2:30 pm
As the end of the year fast approaches, the library will be hosting a Winter Holiday Concert presented by the Southwest Women's Chorus of Temecula. Song selections will include traditional Christmas songs from different parts of the world (ex: Stille Nacht - Germany) as well as other songs representative of different cultural traditions (ex: Oy Chanukah, Oy Chanukah). There will be a 15 minute intermission, where refreshments will be available along with a book/informational booth about different cultural traditions that take place in the month of December. Attendees will be treated to apple cider, hot cocoa, water, and cookies to enjoy during the break. There will be no registration for the event and all ages are welcome.
Staffing: This event will be hosted by the Southwest Women's Chorus of Temecula. 5 volunteers will help with the refreshments table and 2 librarians will be in charge of the cookies (not packaged; baked fresh).
Budget: The Southwest Women's Chorus is volunteer based, so will be at no cost. The budget will be spent on procuring refreshments, which will fun about $40. Total cost: $40.
